BENTOSWELL® is a selectively mined and processed sodium based bentonite suitable for iron ore pelletizing plants. Pellets are balls produced from iron ore and are used as raw material for iron making. BENTOSWELL® bentonite adds significant value to the pelletizing process and the quality of the final product.

BENTOSWELL® 600 has a high content of active montmorillonite and is used as a binder for the formation of iron ore pellets. Its higher swelling, water, and methylene blue absorption capacity improves the strength of the green pellet. It also increases the bursting temperature resistance of the green pellet.

BENTOSWELL® 700 contains more than 90% active montmorillonite clay content, specifically recommended as an effective binding agent in the iron ore pellitization process. BENTOSWELL® 700 exhibits high hot dry strength and excellent water retention capacity which increase strength of both wet and dry iron ore green pellets. BENTOSWELL® 700  is popular for its binding effectiveness, it reduces the bentonite dosage, resulting in significant cost savings while producing higher quality pellets.
